Our famed signature pastry……..Is our Spanakopitta, a cheese and spinach filled filo pastry which is made from an old traditional family recipe (from northern Greece) that’s been lovingly passed down from one generation to the next.Our recipe holds true to its tradition and hasn’t succumbed to any short cuts or sacrificed any of its quality through the use of frozen or pre-packaged ingredients or high tech kitchen gadgets.

Our crispy and light filo pastry is still painstakingly made from scratch, hand rolled and stretched with only the finest, high grade ingredients. Our fresh spinach is still hand washed ans sorted. Although the entire process is highly labour intensive, the result is absolutely sublime and we keep honouring this traditional process so that you may enjoy the scrumptious results.

The flaky and buttery pastry which is light and crisp on the outside encases the most luxurious and unmistakably Mediterranean flavours of spinach and fetta in its warm centre. Ultimately the proof is in its popularity and on average, Melissa’s devotees devour over 500 of these on a daily basis, with numbers on the rise.
